I had the privilege to photograph our friends, Richie & Monique's, extended family but this time in their neck of the woods in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Two important guys couldn't make it, but there is always next time!  We went not so early in the morning and it was cool, but the wind made it much colder.  The first 20 minutes I could hardly feel my hands, my thermostat is definitely Floridian!  Luckily it warmed up a little bit fairly quickly.  Once we did the line up shot, I tried to bundle everyone up  and got couples to cuddle to stay warm and give us a romantic look, which we nailed :)  After doing the last big group photo, I shoot a couple of the kids and looked back and everyone was gone.  Found them all inside a little nook, which ended up being great for the guys solo portraits because the light was incredibly beautiful in there.  This is such a fun bunch dear to my heart and so is New Mexico where my sons were born!
