Loved photographing this engagement blended family session. Started getting nervous with some clouds threatening our afternoon, but bride to be was super relaxed and willing to go with the flow, which was all I needed to embrace any type of weather that was thrown our way...Ended up scoring a beautiful evening!  Always consider my job a blessing to have the opportunity to document special moments in my clients's lives and witness the love and respect they have for one another. They were such a beautiful couple and Dad's daughters were two little sweethearts! I couldn't have loved more the outfits and colors chosen for their session, worked perfectly with our location! As you may remember, this sweet family announced their pregnancy during Christmas last year (which I blogged it here not so long ago).  I had the honor to photograph Kristen's maternity session, but more so than that mom wanted one last session of them as a family of three. When I began brainstorming ideas to offer them, I remembered one adorable photo of Griffin mom posted on social media of him devouring a donut and I knew that would make a great start for their little outing and I had the perfect place in mind for that, so happy they were on board with the plan!  

We started off with some amazing donuts from Doughboy, which if you haven't tried them you sure are missing out!  Then we walked around Mizner Park.  Griffin was still not fully walking on his own a whole lot, just little by little, but he enjoyed the area so much specially fountains and plants, actually since our very first session, I remember him staring at the palm trees at the beach with such fascination! Now he also loves light fixtures and fans we came across from the hallways...So much interesting stuff up above us! And last but not least, I wanted to capture his reaction by showing him his baby brother's sonogram images and I think the little visual in paper didn't represent much of his excitement just yet, but he will sure grow into being an amazing big brother and share mommy and daddy with him.

Needless to say, Kristen looked beautiful as always and I had such a great time with this sweet family once again!

This session has been one of my all time favorite ones...From my beautiful couple inside out, the smoothness of planning, gorgeous weather, their dog was amazing; Nikki's sweet mom helped us so much getting around and taking care of Mahi while we shot at the beach since dogs were not allowed, to last but not least getting soaked in the middle of the session all three of us and laughing so hard about it...It really was a magical day!  Will and Nikki are high school sweethearts, dated for a long time, got engaged for some more with no rush to set a date until now they finally have their official date in September.  From the bottom of my heart I wish you two all the happiness in the world!
